It all began a long time ago in the Urals. When I was a child, I lived with my grandfather. And he was a watchmaker. The clock was everywhere, they ticked, squeaked,  and woke up the neighbours at night with a twelve-hour battle. I adored the watch, I often sat and watched how my grandfather worked with them, looking for small details that fell on the carpet. I even asked him to teach me how to fix them too. But he just laughed and said that I’m too restless for this.
Later I came up with another idea. Since I can not save watches that are not subject to repair, I can make them something new and interesting. So began my experiments, which continue to this day. After a while, I learned that there is a whole subculture called “steampunk”, where the whole reality is based on mechanisms, gears, steam, etc and that I am in this alignment with my craft, it passing to me.

I can define my style as an experimental steampunk, I use very diverse materials to create my works, such as dried flowers, shells, natural stones, sometimes dead insects found in the forest during the collection of plants for a new collection, etc. Fantasy has no boundaries, so each product is unique. I never repeat the model, I’m sure every person is a unique universe and therefore for each one individual jewellery

And now!!

PsychoSteampunk is a level of concentration where various states of consciousness manifest themselves, transforming the illusory nature of reality into anything by any means through the direct exercise of unbending intention, leading to uncontrollable joy and development of all participants of this action. ♾

At the moment, my work is not only the design of jewellery and decor products but also the process of revitalizing them in action. This is an exchange of experience with other masters, sometimes working in completely different directions, organize art events,  photo sessions, video shooting, experimental dances, the conceptualization of the experience and presentation in different forms to the audience. This is my personal game with the universe and my language, in which I tell her fairy tales.

Another embodiment of my art is a comic book catalogue, which is preparing to see the world soon, and a hint of which you can see on my Instagram page. In it, I will tell a fantastic story about the distant future, wonderful heroes and try to convey the spirit of the PsychoSteampunk as much as possible!

January 2020

Start of year 2020

Well not exactly how I was thinking of starting the year but I guess the only good thing it it can only get better form here.

I’m getting stronger every day now slowly but surely I’m going to get back what I lost, this has been a valuable experience for me it has shown me that you can’t take things for granted, if you want to maintain a good level of fitness as you get older you have to make some sacrifices, also I have to remember I’m at a disadvantage to begin with, my COPD & asthma give me a handicap so I have to take extra care of myself during the winter months, making sure I feed my body good nutrition get adequate exercise along with a good amount of sleep to replenish my energy.

The other factors are of course trying to avoid going to places where there’s likely to be a higher risk of contracting any type of virus or infections as this will result in my contracting Pneumonia again and each time this happens I put myself at greater risk of damaging my lungs more, and this could prove to be fatal, and I really don’t want this to happen as I have lots of adventures I need to fulfill yet.

Getting Stronger

As you can see from my photo I’m off the CPAP & 02 so thing’s are definitely going the right way, I’m feeling whole lot better today than I have for a long time.

I’d like to see a big thank you to all my family and friends for all the help and support you have given me, all the online get well wishes from friends around the world I really appreciate you all and thank you from the bottom of my heart.

The only way is up from here on so keep watching this space for my next update, hopefully new road trips in the not to distance future starting with a few in the UK, so looking forward to getting back in my van again…🙏

September Road Trip 2019

Well Here We Go

I’m off I’ve started my September road trip and a great first day the ferry crossing went well,

Skylar on Ferry

it was a little bit up and down, but all in all was quite smooth I guess I’m not the best of sailors

On Deck

(hahaha) like it to be a mill pond really.

So got to Calais at 06.40 local time and headed off on the A16 south I pull into a service area to set up my new Sat-Nav only to find that it would not stay connected for some unknown reason…so set up Google Maps on my good old mobile, headed for Caugé when I spent the first night parked on a farm.

Free parking for the night .

Day 2.

Tunnel de Saint-Rimay

Set off for a place I had visited in June when I went on my Portugal Road Trip. The tunnel at Saint-Rimay, an old abandoned train tunnel used as a stronghold in WW2 by the German troops. A remarkable place passing under farm land what seemed like just an old tunnel at first.

Very eerie standing in and around this tunnel it was kind of spooky, I had a cold feeling come over me from the souls and spirits of the many lives that had been lost there during WW2. Needless to say I felt quite saddened by the thought.

Moving on I decided to revisit another place I’d been to before for an overnight stay after cooking myself some food another van pulled in, with a lovely young couple.

Keupon & Nico

Keupon Sauvage from Briey France & her partner Nico Tekass from Thionville France, they had been travelling for 5 months, they are French and had their two beautiful dog’s with them.

Area de descanso La Guardia. My stopover for the night you can find it on Google Maps.

Thursday San Roque

Thursday 12th September, its 71° beautiful Sunshine I can see the Rock of Gibraltar bbehind me.

The Rock of Gibraltar

Well I’d never had thought 5 years ago that I would be sitting at the back if my van looking at this, how amazing a really breathtaking view. I’m probably going to stay the night here as it’s nice and peaceful, there is another English van parked in front of me with a young couple enjoying touring around.

Another English Van

The Rock

My trip to Gibraltar went ssmoothly after parking up Skylar I grabbed my cameras and headed off for the border passport in hand I walked across and onto Gibraltar first thing I saw a red phone box, then I had to walk across the runway of Gibraltar airport (see photo) and head for the town.

I reached the town after a short walk it was just like I’d stepped back into the UK lol.

My Friend Vineta’s Come Back

Vineta is one of the loveliest people you would want to meet, she is not only a beautiful young lady she’s intelligent, kind and thoughtful but above all that Vineta is a friend.

Unfortunately, my friend who is a successful model got drawn into the seedy world of drink and drugs, the outcome of this story isn’t a sade one though. Please read her story below, with part two to follow shortly.

From Down To Up

It started off at first by going out for a drink then two it was easy I had a bit of money and people would buy me drinks and before I knew it, I was hooked drink after drink but that was just the start of it then I got sucked into drugs. First, it was only occasionally, then every weekend then weekdays too, I would skip the work, look shit, feel utterly shit, I wouldn’t sleep for days. I stopped eating for days at a time, got myself into debt, I fell way behind with all my bills. I had lost control the small bit of gear turned into a lot of gear I was on a downward spiral of abusing my body with the drink and drugs.

One day as I was looking in the mirror what had happened? where was the strong bubbly, beautiful girl that used to be me? It was then I realised she had gone.
I felt so so sad, I wanted to see her again. I had tried to quit myself before, I would go as far as 4 days and start again, it was so clear to me that If I was really going to do this, I was going to need professional help.
I managed to find the strength to get myself into rehab, I entered a programme called 12 steps. I was aiming for a year to be sober, I had to stop the drinking as that was the trigger to get me onto the drugs, I was really caning the coke by then.

Now it is safe to say that I’m smashing!!! I’m attending meetings I’ve been clean for 60 days with no relapses. I feel good although it’s not easy, I’m here, still sober, and right now that’s all that matters.
